Her name is Devon. Devon Taylor. She is a 17 year old girl with a heart of gold but shows it to no one.She doesn't believe in love. She believes that if she loves, she hurts. She is the typical tomboy. She skateboards, plays football in her yard, and doesn’t wear dresses or skirts. She is basically one of the boys. She has one friend that is a girl, other than that it’s guys, though she doesn’t mind. She prefers hanging out with guys anyway. She hates players and especially Austin. Austin always aggravates her and annoys her but does care for her and is slightly her friend.
His name is Austin. Austin Carter. He’s the popular boy at East High. He’s your typical player. At the age of 17 he’s captain of the baseball team and has all of the friends. To him Devon is just a his best friends sister whom he loves making mad. It's like a game to him. He is protective over her when it comes to guys though. Shes like the lttle sister he never had. Of course he knows she’s beautiful. Who doesn’t? He has the girlfriend, the car, and the personality to make anyone jealous. Though he mostly plays with girls hearts like it's a game. He's just a popular boy with a cocky self esteam.
Austin and Devon’s moms are great friends. So good of friends that when Austin’s house burns down her mom lets him and his mom stay with them until their back on their feet. When Austin and Devon are forced to get to know each other better because of their moms their feelings are played with.
And you know the best part? He's her brother, Cory's, best friend. Though they never acknowledged the presence of each other other than Austin stopping by and aggravating her to death or making her mad.
Can they go from enemy's to friends to best friends to lovers? Do they truly like each other, maybe even hidden love? What will happen when a tomboy and player clash forces?

I don't have writing skills the way many other writers on this site do, so don't expect some Shakespeare type shit. The characters in this book are similar to each other too. Cole the Not So Stereotypical Jock Being the most popular guy that girls all want to be with and all guys want to be should make you feel on top of the world, right?
