Bombs were dropped at different parts of the world, killing most of the people, leaving those who survived pleading for mercy at the hands of the ruthless soldiers. 

Emily Quinton, who thought she was the sole survivor, escaped from all the bombings to a place where she believed she would be safe, according to her grandmother Anna, before she had died in the hands of the soldiers. Emily had no time to think at all before she fled away to the nearest forest, not knowing any survival skills that would keep her alive for long.
