Before reading this story, there are two very important things I'd like you to understand. First, the character Maya Hayes is in no way original. I've taken her and parts of the plot from the wattpad original author JoshTownley and their story 'Zoey'. They have given me permission to write this. Next, most, if not all, of the characters are from C.L. Stone's Ghost Bird series. The only thing I have done is combined these two authors' ideas into an adventure of my own. The Blackbourne Team, one of the most diverse and tight knit groups in the Academy, thought they had seen it all. Murder, torture, sexual assault, abuse... it was their job, after all- they slipped in, locked the bad people up, and slipped away. But boy were they wrong. You see, what they hadn't ever encountered before, what was thought to be impossible, decided they hadn't been through enough in their short lives. 

And so an outbreak of a zombie-creating virus pounded at their doors.

With friends, family, and even pets to worry about, you'd think the quiet house down the street would be the furthest thing from their minds. Actually, it definitely was the furthest thing from their minds. Until they saw the little girl in the window.

They say curiosity killed the cat, but what about a dog?

Be warned, I don't do trigger warnings on individual chapters and this is a Ghost Bird story: there is physical and emotional abuse, implied and overt; there are nine men interested in one woman (#whychoose) and sometimes each other; and the language used is appropriate for mature readers only. Not my circus, not my monkeys. I don't own any of these characters, The Academy, or Charleston, SC. I'm not making any money off of this. By doing so, Christ hopes to put the negativity behind her and move forward. # Episode 3: "Enemies" Zoe fights Silva, a tough student. # Episode 4: "The Deal" Silva befriends Christ, promising protection from Zoe. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.
