Before reading this story, there are two very important things I'd like you to understand. First, the character Maya Hayes is in no way original. I've taken her and parts of the plot from the wattpad original author JoshTownley and their story 'Zoey'. They have given me permission to write this. Next, most, if not all, of the characters are from C.L. Stone's Ghost Bird series. The only thing I have done is combined these two authors' ideas into an adventure of my own. The Blackbourne Team, one of the most diverse and tight knit groups in the Academy, thought they had seen it all. Murder, torture, sexual assault, abuse... it was their job, after all- they slipped in, locked the bad people up, and slipped away. But boy were they wrong. You see, what they hadn't ever encountered before, what was thought to be impossible, decided they hadn't been through enough in their short lives.
And so an outbreak of a zombie-creating virus pounded at their doors.
With friends, family, and even pets to worry about, you'd think the quiet house down the street would be the furthest thing from their minds. Actually, it definitely was the furthest thing from their minds. Until they saw the little girl in the window.
They say curiosity killed the cat, but what about a dog?

THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN WHEN I WAS LIKE TEN. ITS VERY BAD LMAO Staffie and her dog Unicorn, a white great dane puppy, move to her uncle and aunt's mansion after her parents 'died'. her uncle and aunt have to go on a business trip, leaving Staffie and Unicorn in a house full of boys... vampire boys. they all look to be around the same age, but in reality are thousands of years apart. she falls in love with the eldest out of the six brothers; Tayson, or Tay for short. when some questions of her past pop up, she has figure out who or more like WHAT she is. when she discovers her true identity, things turn upside down in her life. even if that's possible. 'watch out humans, there's a Reaper in town. try not to die!' ---- prologue "Mitch we have to leave!" Annabelle yelped, holding a baby girl with black hair and blue eyes in her arms. "leave! go somewhere safe!" Nine boys saved Sang from her abusive home. Nine boys loved her, and she loved them. But nine boys wouldn't let her learn to stand on her own two feet. Sang's storybook happy ending is just within her grasp.
