A vain prince makes for a corrupt king; a man with such a pompous outlook of himself could never exceed the duties of a ruler, and for Phoenix--A French prince and future king-- it seems more and more like he will never grow to be the man his kingdom needs.
With his ego held high and his destiny to the throne creeping dangerously close, his egotistic, self-loving attitude seems to grow. He can do what he wants, get what he wants, and lie to whomever he wants, and no one can do anything about it. He is the future King after all.
Then a night of a drunken mistake makes an enemy out of a desperate man, and phoenix--For the safety of his life, and future of his country-- is forced into hiding; uniquely, he meets the one person who may change his perspective on the world, and possibly save his throne in the process.
