Three years ago we lost our mother in a tragic way. Even though we initially held together, our track lost one day. After a work accident, my sister Charlotte disappeared without a trace, sat on some plane and disappeared without leaving a message. For two weeks I was back in this place and even if everything looked like before, was nothing like it once was. Things happened that were not normal in my eyes, and when I heard about a long-guarded family secret, things changed even more, but not just for me.

[FEATURED IN WATTPAD PARANORMAL: Occult & Afterlife]. === After two seasons of grief from losing her mother, Charlotte finally felt good enough to look forward to the spring, a spring that had so far brought so much for her to be thankful about: She had earned her Ph.D, she had gotten a good job, and she began to do her side business again as a clown-for-hire for kids birthday party. It was all good, and to top it off: She would spend a few weeks with her archaeologist dad in Europe, he was doing some excavation project there. But that trip became a nightmare for her when the archaeologist team became perfect means to unearth what had been buried for centuries. Something that should have remained buried. A demon lurking beneath the earth. A secret order of immortals. A man with his own dark past and origin. A powerful weapon that could tilt the balance of the battle between the good and the evil. Charlotte was caught in the middle of it all, and the only way for her to have a chance to survive was this: A marriage between the light and the darkness.
