After the events of that terrible night, the group have felt trapped. Locked in a never ending checkpoint. They don't know why this feeling was plaguing them, they were off that mountain, they were safe.
But Sam knew it's because they left one of their own on that Hellscape. They left her best friend up there.
And she will save him if it's the last thing she does.
