Courage and All its Friends

For as long as she could remember, Nisha had been in a state of war. She had fought to wear what she liked. She has fought to study abroad. She had fought to major in theatre. She had developed quite an arsenal and collected some battle scars. When she met Arjun, she was wearing her combat boots and armour. She had never been more ready to win. But he just gave up. "You are right." he said. For some reason this irked her more than anything else he could have said. After all he was supposed to hate her, if she had done everything wrong, he had done everything right. Why then was he agreeing with her? She never had a dearth of courage in war but maybe, it required more courage for her to stop fighting.
Anjali was an adored, adorable angel. She was becoming a doctor, she was polite and well behaved. For the first time in her life, someone called out her bulshit. "Just say what you want to." Abhi said. This is the story of how she deals with a man who is constantly accusing her of being a liar and her suspecting that she actually might be.
