'The one person who could break my heart is the only one who should have it.'

He grazed my cheek with the gentlest of touch as he gave me the most beautiful smile of the century. Yet it was heart-breaking to look at. My eyes blurred with the unshed tears that was trying to block my last view of him. Yes, my last. For I have broken his heart with my stupid, stupid pride and ignorance.

And as he slowly walks away from me, I have come to realize the undeniable truth: I love him and I can't just let him go.

As fast as my feet can, I run to him and smacked his very temperamental head and said,
"Adik ka ba? Lalayasan mo lang ako ng ganun-ganun lang? Manigas ka!"

I pulled his left ear as hard as I can without detaching it and lead him away. I secretly smiled and said to myself: Ours will be the greatest story love will ever be told. And alas! It only just began.
