Life for Daphne has not been an easy one. Going from job to job has kept her on her toes and at any moment she feels as though she could break into a million pieces from the weight of the world against her. When a position at Wilshire, a wealthy estate with an unrelenting mistress,  is surprisingly offered to her, she is hesitant to accept. Would this job keep her from her dreams of excitement and freedom, or will it give her just that? 

Working as a stable boy at Wilshire was not on Oliver's life plan. His dreams of finding wealth are halted at the horrid fate of his mother's death. Left to protect and care for his twin sister after their father left them, Oliver must keep working. What he didn't expect was to fall for the mistress's daughter, Alice. Sparks fly and daydreams soar, and life finally seems like it's working out for him. Wealth and romance seems like it's right around the corner until the new girl shows up and ruins his decided fate.
