Cover by Mystery Magic. In the 6 years that Thomas had been a Hunter, this one assignment was probably the easiest sounding to the 18-year-old boy. It seemed simple, grab and go, she didn't even seem all that dangerous. But kidnapping Katherine Neelson may have been the most dangerous thing he has done. Thomas will need to use all of the skills he's learned and the abilities he's inherited in order to survive. Will he last? Katherine Neelson wasn't expecting her day to be anything exciting when she left for work. She certainly wasn't expecting to be kidnapped from the Dallas bookstore Morning Books. She doesn't want to accept that the world isn't quite as it seems, that she isn't either. Will she learn to use her new found abilities or will they begin to consume her in a final flameout?

In "Dealing with the Devil" Y/N finds herself stalked and partnered with an enigmatic classmate known as "the Devil" for tutoring. As their sessions progress, Y/N uncovers dark secrets about her stalker's identity and their sinister connection. With tension mounting, she must navigate treacherous waters to uncover the chilling truth before it's too late. ___________ "When the mind fixates singularly on an obsession, becoming deeply enamored, what transpires when that fixation fades? Does it relegate you to the shelf among its other prized possessions, or does it casually discard you? I've never experienced such intense love for something, and I doubt I ever will, but I ponder how often this cycle of obsession repeats itself-" As my fingers danced across the keyboard, crafting words, a sudden message materialized on my computer screen. "I won't ever throw you away. Why are you writing about me like this?" A chill ran down my spine. Had he hacked into my computer? Attempting to continue typing, my efforts were futile; it was as if my computer had frozen. "Why are you doing this?" I exclaimed aloud in frustration, my fingers tapping the keys relentlessly. Suddenly, my computer shut down abruptly. I slammed my hands onto the desk, emitting a frustrated groan. The overwhelming emotions made me feel on the verge of tears. "I just love you too much," the message declared across my darkened screen.
