How People Are
A meticulous grifter tries to stay below the radar by hiding out in a privileged suburb, using a fictional family as a cover for his schemes. Murder, mayhem, HOA wars, and PTA meetings ensue. Basically, if you like self aware narrators, sarcasm, satire, and dead bodies, this one's for you. It's super short you can read it in like forty five minutes, so as opposed to binging a whole series it's more like watching a Netflix movie you become unreasonably attached to. Trigger/Content Warning: violence, some disturbing imagery. Family issues, mention of substance abuse.Complete
Not a Love Story
(Exactly what it sounds like. It's really not a love story. ) "Do you like me?" You're straight forward I forget that sometimes. I open the drink and look at it as if it were the most interesting thing in the world. I sigh, it's a habit now, and take a gulp. "So?" You ask again. I put the drink on a table next to your bed and sit properly. "I don't know." I say honestly. You didn't seem fazed but you did seem a bit confused. "What do you mean you don't know?" I shrug and decide that the floor is the next best thing to look at. "I like you." I laugh at this and see you don't. "Don't say that. You don't like me. You don't." I say as my smile fell and I looked to your eyes, mine were filled with sadness. But enjoy the book :)Complete

Just a short story about two dense people who can't seem to figure out that they're in love with each other. Note: This story is rated mature for swearing! ___ "Okay, okay, just... follow me.
