In 6th the guy she would grow to love moved in.
It is now 8th grade, and the feelings she gained from him as soon as she first saw him still haven't gone away, but how could she ever tell him? After all, aren't they just friends? Well, best friends.

Ever since Shelby moved away from her hometown she has missed everything about it; the feel, the people, her (pretty much but not really) sister, Celeste and her boyfriend, oops, EX-boyfriend, Laine. Just before she moved away they broke up, they made up at the airport as she left but they never got over each other. Shelby has now been in her new town, Sherwood Park, for three years (Shelby is 14). She has had some bad times, and some even more good times, like meeting all her new friends.
