The world has evolved into two species Giants and humans Giants are born human and have the ability to switch from human and Giant form as they form they have arrmor in their giant form but when they are back to human their clothes are gone and their naked.
Humans have been hunting giants down causing them to hide they can hide alone but giants in a group are hard to hide. Everytime a Rebbelinon happens the more people are afraid and the more they die.
The only way to Tell some one is a giant is through DNA testing. Marcus is a Giant and he doesn't want to die and wants to make sure the others don't either.
