An ancient greek mythology says that human were originally brought to earth having four legs, four arms, two heads, two hearts and one soul. Zeus, seeing their power, decided to split the human into two individuals, cursed to search for their other half for all their lives.
Luckily, mankind developed a simple way to recognize one's soulmate. Once their other half is near, one's souls will glow brightly in the same colour, shining through one's chest so that they will recognize each other the moment they meet.
Do Kyungsoo has lived a decent life for 24 years. That is until he accompanies his friend Jongdae to a concert, and the singer's soul decides to cry for its other half right there on stage, while Kyungsoo's soul answers in the same colour.

This is a haikyuu soulmate au. The way the soulmates work is they will get a colour stripe on their dominant wrist, the colour will be their soulmates favourite colour and will be scented like their soulmate. Their soulmate's initials will be engraved in with the stripe. if the initials are white then the soulmate is platonic and if the initials are black then the soulmate is romantic however this can change but that is very rare. The stripe appears at birth. It is possible for someone to not get a stripe but some people can get a delayed soulmate and develop their stripe later but not all. If the soulmate is romantic, then the soulmate will stay true to the persons sexuality. If the soulmate gets hurt the person will be able to sense where (if its physical pain). Mental pain works slightly differently so for example, their soulmate is going through grief, they can feel ever so slightly what the soulmate is feeling so sometimes people can be found suddenly tearing up, even in the happiest of moments, of sadness.
