Acyles Investigations Case #01: The Renegade Reaper

Jason Cruz is one of the many members of the Council of Acyles, an Organization of Mages who specialize in dealing with denizens of the Mystical and the Supernatural. After an incident known as the Amarian Exposure Incident, the world's Third Eye have been opened. As a result, humans saw the world for what it truly was: a world brimming with magic and monsters living with them the entire time.

At some point, humanity grew accustomed to having creatures and magic living with them. Magic is openly practiced, marriages between humans and monsters are now common. However, criminal rates concerning magic have spiked ever since the historical moment.

Berns, California is one of those cities that are a Supernatural hotspot. For Jason, who's the American Representative of the Council, it's his job to investigate murders with the help of the Special Occult Investigation Team, a special branch of Police Officers who handle these sorts of things. However, when a body of a Church minister emerges, Jason is caught in solving three cases: Four other Koreans living in the city are being targeted by someone. And then there's the issue with the Soul Scythe, the weapon of Thanatos, the boss of the Soul Collectors, which has been stolen. And then there's the murder of an entire squad of Soul Collectors in Seoul.

With the help of the Korean Representative, Ma Eun Ji (Eunice Ma), Jason must help her find the Soul Scythe, save the remaining four targets, and find the killer... before he uses the Soul Scythe for more than just murder.
