Tales From Trebaria - A Chance Encounter

((This is a work in progress and first of all a ROUGH DRAFT. It won't be detailed until I get a good chunk of it done. I'm looking for feedback on characters, world building, and plot.))
This is the land of Trebaria. A large continent entangled in political and religious struggles. Henrik on the other hand doesn't care. He's living day to day as a mercenary guarding caravans in the Kingdom of Rol trying to escape demons from the past. When he happens upon a mysterious girl who doesn't speak on the run from some powerful enemies, he gets entangle in many of the things he wished to avoid.
