Where We Stand

Laura and Haji had always clashed. Ever since they were kids, family gatherings were a guaranteed battleground. She said he was arrogant. He said she was dramatic. Neither of them was entirely wrong.

When they were younger, it was silly things-fighting over who got the last breadstick, mocking each other's favorite songs, playing pranks that crossed the line. As adults, their arguments matured but stayed just as fierce.

But beneath all that banter was something neither wanted to admit: they noticed each other. Not just as family. Not just as rivals. But in a way that made their arguments feel dangerous-charged, like lightning before rain.

It started changing when they were both assigned to help plan their cousin's wedding. Weeks of forced collaboration, meetings, errands, and decision-making. They still argued, of course-but something was different. Their fights had a rhythm now. They knew when to push, when to pause, when to let each other win.

Haji Alejandro Montenegro tries his best to fix the chaotic relationship with his cousin Laura Ivette Montenegro especially they are the closest among the family. Though majority of the time they are like cat and dog, sometimes they are like the peas in a pod.

The chaotic relationship of the two will turn into a dangerous fight they must face. Will they fight together? Or stay in the safe line?
