Neville had haunting dreams each night about You-know-who, the Dark Lord, bewitching his mind and the evil scum who murdered Neville's parents on Halloween night, 1981. One night Neville woke after having one about a certain Slytherin boy. Determined to stop Potter from helping the Dark Lord, Neville confronts the boy only to find that they are, in fact, quite similar.
