Beautiful Breaking

Alice is newly adopted by the Calloway family. This crazy, wealthy family consists of two strictly formal parents of one, that one being their only son, Nick. Obviously, Nick is an egotistical jerk sometimes, but he and Alice still manage to sustain a love-hate relationship. Just as Alice begins to learn the ways of the city, life throws her curveballs. Her friend Stella encourages her to become popular, she develops a crush on her brother's best friend, and she gets an unexpected reminder from her past. With all of Alice's existing dilemmas, she begins to wonder whether the bright lights of Manhattan will make her or break her.
