You ran, joined the army like you and him promised to do together. You were going to fight side by side, like how the two of you used too.
But that's gone now. You fought with Jack. He became your new best friend, the two of you served four successful tours together and trained in the same camp. You made him eat a worm.
On the two year anniversary of your fifth tour, the helicarriers go down, and you get a visitor.
