"There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be..."

-John Lenon

"I am the sum total of everything that went before me, of all I have been seen done, of everything done-to-me. I am everyone everything whose being-in-the-world affected was affected by mine. I am anything that happens after I'm gone which would not have happened if I had not come."

-Salman Rushdie, Midnight's Children

You lived a life full of misery in your old world with ordinary people, who considers you as one of the special children with special needs. What if one day you discover another world where you are accepted as you are? What if you find people just like you? What if you have felt being treated as a human for the first time, then you found out that you're no human at all? Would you rather go back home and feel the misery once again and insist on living in a world not made for you?

And who would you choose between the one you love, and the one who loves you?

A novel with romance, fantasy, friendship, family and adventure.

All that and more in Eternal.

(completed) She trusted her with everything-her secrets, her heart, and even her marriage. Delilah never thought betrayal could wear a familiar face. She and Elena have been best friends since they were seven. They've been through everything-school dances, breakups, heartbreak, college, adulthood. Elena was always there. Her constant. Her comfort. Her family. So when Destiny got married, there was no question who would stand by her side. Elena was her maid of honor, holding her bouquet with shaking hands and tearful eyes. What Delilah didn't know was that Elena had already slept with the groom. And she never stopped. For two years, Elena's been sharing her husband. And Delilah, completely unaware, confides in her like always-crying to her about how distant he's become, how cold his touch feels, how something just doesn't feel right. Elena listens patiently, holds her while she cries, and then goes back to the man Delilah calls hers. Every fear Delilah shares is another secret Elena carries straight into his arms. And to twist the knife even deeper, Elena spins her own fantasy. She gushes about a secret lover-a man who spoils her, buys her expensive gifts, and makes her feel like she's finally found the love she's always wanted. Delilah cheers her on. Laughs with her. Supports her. She never suspects the truth. She never thinks to look that close. Because who would ever suspect their best friend? This isn't just infidelity. This is heartbreak in disguise. And by the time Delilah learns the truth.. There may be nothing left of the life she built. "She calls it devotion, he calls it mistake, her friend calls it nothing but all three take. If the crime is shared and the truth is gone, who is the villain when everyone is wrong?"

108 parts Complete Mature

What did they mean? I knew who I was, didn't I? I was Rosalia Mallory, a girl left on the doorstep of our town's foster agency to find a new home. From there I went through three homes before at the age of 16 instead of having to live in the group home I secured enough money to, along with the money the foster carers were given for me, to buy an apartment building. Alongside a job bartending and waitressing I had enough money to attend college and am currently studying Religion and Mythology, Creative writing and Art. Just a normal teenage girl with a normal life. But at the same time, I'm not. Who am I? Seems like the most cliché question a teenager can ask right? Except when your missing months, if not years, of your life suddenly that seemingly simple question takes on a whole new meaning. After all, if you don't know your whole past how can you answer that for yourself?
