"I still can't believe you wrote a song called 'The Ballad of Mona Lisa' before you actually knew me. Maybe your subconscious knew about me."
"Damn straight it did."
"Only problem is, I hate my name, so I don't think I would want to listen to you sing it."
"Eh...too bad. WOAH, MONA LISA, YOU'RE GUARANTEED TO RUN THIS TOWN."
"You know what...I changed my mind. I fucking love it when you sing my name. You have permission to proceed."
It was no secret that Mona Lisa Abernathy hated her name. But it was a well-kept secret that she hated her life...well, maybe not her life, but her "career". At the planned deaths of her parents, Mona Lisa was forced into a world of secrets and espionage way too young. Now, she's a well-trained assassin, forced to serve the same people that killed her parents. But, it's either do that, or die.
She's learned to never trust the words "just one more assignment", knowing that there will always be one more assignment. But when she's told that her next assignment will involve traveling to the Underworld, she's actually surprised. The living were allowed to travel to the underworld, but the dead weren't allowed to travel back, making it so that the living stood out like a sore thumb in the Underworld. That, and the last time she was in the Underworld, the mission turned into a complete and utter failure. But, that failure was in no way shape or form her fault. But Mona Lisa is going back, and she knows that her assignment will be the leader of the Underworld. She knows that she will have to murder Satan himself.
Or, as most people know him, Brendon Urie.

She's stone-cold while he's a warm, flirty person. At least as much he can be with his job as an assassin.
Or ex-job, because he ended up in prison. He had been caught by an agent, Y/n Johnson to be exact.
But now, he gets offered a deal by no other than her, a deal that could save him from 18 years in prison, but could kill him at the same time.
It's a dangerous game that they'll play.
A crazy Psychopath is running around in the city, with connections to politicians and the mafia. Yet, nobody knows his identity nor what his next move will be. He likes the feeling of being feared, likes people crawling on their knees and begging for mercy, before he ends their lives.
But what if he gets sick of his games and decides to really blow the whole city up?
Will Y/n and Timothée manage to arrest him and prevent thousands of deaths before it's too late?
