When a local high school girl named Madison is shot and killed, the whole town descends into chaos as those close to her search to find the killer. Only one individual witnessed the murder in person; Madison's former boyfriend, Lucas. Since the cops weren't there when the killing happened, no one knows what the killer looks like; except him. However, Lucas was found on the scene with a serious head injury, which leads the cops to believe his story of what happened is most likely an after-effect of his concussion. So, he is left by himself to pinpoint Madison's killer, without the help of the police. Can he find the killer, before they get the chance to strike again?
