[ FIRST BOOK of: The Fighter's Series ]

A series of murders in the different cities of Tenoris have caught the attention of the Akihatar.

The Commander instructs the group to put a stop to the jarring and somewhat mysterious killings before panic broke out. 

While the Akihatar are convinced that these murders are only the surface of something much more serious than they thought, the New Government continues to play the situation off. 

Kiera Rowlan does not have anything to do with the murders, until she does.

The Age of Peace may just be coming to an end. 

How does a seventeen year-old girl fit into all this?

This story is the eighth in a ten-book series based on the video game franchise, "Destiny," developed by Bungie. The universe of Destiny is a science-fictional setting taking place in the future, where Humanity has been reduced to a singular city on Earth, and must rely on the Guardians, Humans who wield a power known as the Light, to defend them from various alien threats within the Sol system. This saga is NOT intended to be 100% lore accurate, and should be taken as an alternate timeline from the main canon. The primary purpose of this fanfiction is to re-tell the story that takes place in Destiny and its sequel, Destiny 2, but with a twist. The twist being that the playable "Guardian" character, who is known to be a blank-slate one-man-army amongst a roster of developed characters, is instead a team of multiple Guardians who all have their own backstories and personalities. The plot of this saga will follow the plot of the game its based on closely, but not exactly. There are a number of twists such as the main cast, as well as several other plot points, for the sake of originality, as well as to serve as an interesting narrative for those who are aware of Destiny's plot. Primarily, this story will follow the perspective of a Titan-class Guardian named Chrytor-6, but is told from the third-person, allowing for perspectives to change whether it be scene to scene or book to book, as our main character, Chrytor-6, will not always be the focus.
