A woman just ran into a really mysterious man who just moved into her small historic town (Willow-Tree) that she herself lives in. She tells her best friend about him to see what she can find. What she finds out is most intriguing that she wants to find out if it's just a rumor or if it's true.
"I sit at a small table not far from the mystery man reading the newspaper. He has a black fedora hat on and a back suit. His hands look like they can strangle a man. His gold ring on his middle finger, looked like it could leave an imprint on someone's cheek. He peered over the newspaper and he met my gaze. His eyes are brown and cold."
