"God gave him numerous chances to the Devil to repent and he didn't. So he cast the Devil and his demons down to Earth. He is the King here, but, at the end of the day, they both know that God is going to destroy him." I chuckled at him, shaking my head, my hair tickling my bare arms. His eyes were on my body, but by the slight creases between his eyebrows I could tell he was trying to listen and understand what I was saying. "That story sounds very familiar, don't ya think?" I asked, right in front of him now, smiling innocently.  "You're the Devil in this story. I'm like God. I was gracious and merciful, gave you time to repent, to even just feel bad for what you were doing, but, I now know that you will never be satisfied with what you have. Now, I banish you beneath me and from now on we both know one thing." I said, my expression hardening as I stated this to him, feeling successful as he shook his head back and forth, his face becoming panicked. I smirked as I pulled him to me, I slung my arms around his neck loosely as I held him to me so I could whisper in his ear, "Too bad you were too bent on being defiant, because now I have to destroy you." ~~~ Arranged marriages are never fun-especially to these two opposites Eva Trujillo and Harrison Abels. Harrison is the type of man who thinks life is all about having fun and not caring for feelings of others. Eva knows differently, coming from a tragic past and a future that has already been destined for her. It doesn't help that Harrison's wolf keep saying she's his mate, and Eva turns out to be mate-less, with one too many admirers.

"Quick, kiss me." I choked on my baguette as I looked up at my boss, his intense grey eyes burning into me as my jaw fell open with a mouthful of chocolate baguette. "What?" I snapped, was it just me or did my boss suddenly lose his mind? One minute he was talking about rescheduling the meeting booked at two and then he said kiss me, maybe he said something else, maybe it was miss, bliss, piss? But all the thoughts in my head were swiped away as he stood up from his chair, his tall frame hovering over me before he grabbed my arm so roughly the baguette I was holding fell out of my grip and he pulled me upwards, and the man I have worked for three years and never touched suddenly was pressed against my chest as his lips met mine. And the piece of baguette in my mouth only made me choke further. * * * Gabriel Parish needed the wealth that came when his grandfather passed away, but there was a catch, he had to be married, or have a wife of some sort for at least two years, and the 29 year old bachelor had no intention of ever getting a wife, they were too complicated.
