Becca and Mark, both seniors in McHough highschool, have been best friends for nearly all their lives. Mark has been getting this weird feeling whenever he is around Becca, talking to her, or thinking about her. Everything was going nicely, until one day Becca felt dizzy and suddenly passed out and became completely weak. After many days at the hospital, she returns, but something still doesn't seem to be right.
One Friday, Becca and Mark spend the entire day together. Right after school, they went to the forest, which became the best and most marvelous day of Becca and Mark's life.
But the next week, Becca was once again gone. The entire week, not there. Mark could tell something really bad had happened to her, but she didn't tell Mark anything. Not yet.
