"I wouldn't bother if I were you." Sammy said, noticing me staring at him across the cafeteria. "I get it, he's like, absolutely gorgeous, but he's the definition of a bad boy."
"Who is he?" I ask, not even acknowledging the things she just said.
"Easton King, AKA the king. But trust me Rose, he's involved in some bad sh*t. And there's rules when it comes to him."
I continue to stare. It's like my eyes are glued to him, I just can't look away.
"And what exactly are those rules?" I ask.
"Don't talk to the king and don't look at the king. That is, if you value your life. He caught some kid looking into his work last year, asking questions. He ended up in the hospital and moved schools after that." She said with a slightly scared expression on her face.
Sammy liked to mess with me a lot, but this time, I could tell she wasn't kidding. This dude must be bad. Really bad. But I just couldn't keep my eyes off of him.
Suddenly, his eyes moved and locked with mine. His gaze sent a shiver down my spine.. but I still couldn't look away.
He slowly got up, continuing to look at me. As he began walking forward...
*Diiiinnnnngggg! Diiiiiinnnnnggg!* (I didn't know how to make a bell sound haha)
The bell. Thank God.
I quickly grabbed my things and followed Sammy to
The door. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't bring myself to look back.
"Are you okay, Rose? You look petrified." Sammy says to me.
She must not have seen what happened.
"Sammy, what happens when you look him in the eyes?" I say, slightly fearful.
"No. Rose, You didn't.." she says with a scared expression on her face.
"Yeah, I think I just looked the king in the eyes."
