Countdown

"I can show you a world that you would never have known would have existed," He whispers softly. His voice drew my attention back to him. I looked up at him with caution this time.

"What about the countdown?" I ask. We only had three minutes left before the world was destroyed in cold blood. Then he replied,

"Would you really kill your own father?"

What if you had only one week to save the entire world? What if the person you had to save the world from was your own father? Seventeen year-old Skaye Felthart has the fate of the world resting on her shoulders. Not only will she have to struggle along beside somebody she doesn't even have a clue about, she has to make the decision that can save the world, or allow the world to be destroyed. If the world is saved, hurray you become hero, but your father dies at your hands. Then again if the world is destroyed, your known as a coward, but you die with your father. Can Skaye save the world before times out, or will she allow it to be destroyed?
