«The independence, which is my strength, involves the solitude, which is my weakness» (Pier Paolo Pasolini, "Il Caos")
It's though this quote from an article in "Caos" column for the magazine "Il Tempo illustrato" written by Pier Paolo Pasolini, great Italian author, journalist, poet and director, was born my interest about the nature of the independence, in particular for the intellectual one, as inquest instrument on own ideological identity. But all is born by this question: in a society where remains a preexisting characters multiplicity state, how could occur the affirmation of an own individual identity? The answer seems finding in intellectual independence concept and in its in part negative consequence, the solitude. But what is the intellectual independence? And the solitude? And how could we operate though these?
With an article series, formulation of my most personal thoughts, already published in my blog Live Thinking (https://livethinking.tumblr.com) I'm going to try suggesting some answers.
