The Calamity destroyed the world as we know it 200 years ago. The ash had cleared and the dust has settled for a new era reminiscent of the wild frontier in the American west. With gunslingers,  bandits, sheriffs, and cowboys parading the frontiers while two powers grow in the north and south. Old technology rebooted and used to further the power of Sun Tail, a organization that dates before the Calamity still lives on, and so do their mutants. 
Rayna's history goes way back with them, and they've taken something from her that's been worth 6 years of blood and tears. She won't stop, and  she'll set the western frontier ablaze if she has to.

What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. If I'm going to die regardless, might as well die sooner rather than later. But that desire for death causes more than just a few changes to the definite plot; From little ones that have no effect at all, to life changing ones that may destroy the world of Arraxus. So the God of the world makes a deal with me: They'll give me a peaceful and happy afterlife, as long as I get a happy ending for myself. "Let the game begin!" -- Discontinued.

So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?
