Little Red

Annie Reddrun had never fit in with any of the other girls at her school. She hated shopping, couldn't stand makeup, was never up to date on the latest fashion, not to mention her long fiery red hair that she hated, and she always had her nose in her journal. That was how she liked her life, she didn't like being noticed. That all changed one day when she was forced to be lab partners with the seemingly dodgy new kid Andy. He refused to speak, usually spending class time sketching other worldly things and day dreaming. Annie thought he was insane but realized she was too quick to judge when a major science project was due and he refused to go to Annie's house to work on it. That was the day everything went wrong. It was a windy Saturday morning that she had walked three miles to his house, however when she got to the given address there was nothing but a dirt lot that smelled of rotten eggs. She was about to leave back home when a strong wind picked up and sucked her into the dirt lot. She found herself in a beautifully unusual place where fairy tales come alive. That would be just the beginning of the adventure that would come for Annie, and she would find out that there is much more to her red hair than what she thinks.
