Adalynn is a New York psychologist with a passion for helping people. When one of her long-time clients, and friend, commits suicide speculation begins to arise. Adalynn is thrown into a life of violence, death, and chaos when the wrong people find out she may be in possession of very important and secret information. She can't help but feel the growing attraction the man who may, or may not of, kidnapped her for her own protection.

Damien has always been known as the silent and stoic type. At least that's been the case since his sister's murder and joining the IROG. He is has always been solely focused on completing missions as routinely and neatly as possible. What he didn't expect was meeting the curly-haired firecracker Adalynn. He knows he has to protect but can he prioritize her safety over his desires?
