Here I am a 16 year old girl working on a Friday night by myself in a dead diner, what a life I have. 

Just as I finish my thought a man walks in. He didn't look too old 25 at most, but he had this rather...powerful aura about him...

'What am I taking about his aura I haven't even spoken to the man yet!'

I tell him to have a seat anywhere as I go to grab him a menu. "Here you go sir, just let me know when you're ready to order" I say setting down his menu.

As I turn to leave he stops me grabbing my hand "Just coffee, black" he says it so simply because it was a simple thing to say through and through, but hearing his voice I just wanted to hear him say more and more. I nod going to grab that for him.

'What the hell Maya?!' I think 'Guys never have that affect on you especially when that's the only thing you've heard them say, you don't even know his name!!!' I think I'm loosing it...

I bring the man his coffee and he thanks me "n-o problem sir." I say sharply after pulling my together
