A wedding has been the talk of England for over a year now and with a suitor finally available for Princess Cadley it seems that it's finally going to happen. However, this national celebration provides the perfect distraction for an enemy invasion.
After the dust settles, hundreds are dead and the princess herself, the only heir to the throne, has been kidnapped.
On the other side of the battle a young shooter has found two English girls; both maids, one fatally wounded. However, are they really who they claim to be? And will protecting them cost Peter his life, or worse, his heart?

Set immediately after the events in Souja. Duchess Contessina DeBaringer has been betrothed since infancy to the last man in the world she wants to marry. However- a year before the wedding to him and squeezing herself into the wedding dress, she comes under agonizing pain and faints. Upon examination- she is diagnosed with incurable cancer and side sickness and given only months left to live. Two days after the diagnosis- an offer comes in for his second daughter Millicent's hand in marraige that is too good to pass up and her father accepts immediately. However the offer is from a Baron Thaddius Salgria- of Salgria Shipping for his eldest son- Kragan. Who has spent his whole life on ships, either seaships or skyships. And Kragan is a natural sailor, when he's not designing, commissioning and building the ships himself. And for Millicent- the insult to the injury is that Kragan and his family are orcs. Millicent is furious with the match and outright refuses. So Contessina suggests that her father switch the marraige matches between herself and her sister. And to keep the news of her condition a secret- lest it be known and the family honor be ruined. Contessina and her father hatch a plan to pull it off. The doctors give her betrothed a fake but secret dianosis of being an horse riding accident and that she is now barren in order for herself to be released from the betrothal, which works. And the same lie about the horse riding accident is enough to ward off suspicion as to why she is taking medication to mask the symptoms of her real fatal illness to the Salgrias. But upon meeting her new groom- Contessina realizes that he is her love match and everything she never knew she always wanted and needed. So will she be able to keep her deadly secret to herself long enough to save her family from ruination- and more importantly- save Kragan from ruination too?

The secret seemed to be etched across my face, the words "traitor" branded on my forehead. I wondered how everyone would feel if they knew what I'd just done, if they knew the treason and danger I'd just committed myself too. If they knew that the helpless girl in the pink dress was something more than a background character. ... It's 1776, and the Revolutionary War is in full swing. Everyday men fight and die for their country on the battlefield, and people grow poorer and poorer everyday as King George continues to tax the colonies. But while civilians drop like flies, nineteen year old Rose and her family are safe in England and as close as ever to King George and his obnoxious daughter Princess Sophia. Rose has a life that one would dream of; endless money and luxury, marriage offerings from every suitor in town, and the privilege of having the royal family in the palm of her hand. Except there's one flaw to Rose's perfect life: she hates it. While everyone else is jealous of Rose's wealth and luck, all Rose wants is to return to her hometown Virginia and get away from Princess Sophia and her minions. But then Rose meets Fiona. She's leader of the Shadow Group, a group of overlooked woman who sneak information from the British and send it to the colonies. Desperate to escape her living nightmare, Rose joins and her luck starts to change. Soon she's secretly attending meetings and flirting information out of her chosen suitor to help her hometown; until the ultimate betrayal tears the group apart. Will Rose make it out of Britain and live the life she's always wanted or to persevere her family's reputation? Or will she crumble under the King's careful thumb and break free forever? It's time Britain realized that it's not just the colonies ready for a rebellion. COMPLETED
