When Nightmare took a bit of the black apple he lost everything. And he did not think he would ever have a chance to regain it, so why did it matter if  he faded away once and for all?

A gamble pays off in unexpected ways and he find himself in a position to regain what matters the most out off what he had lost. He also got those that have experienced similar suffering as his own to help him.(CC) Atribución No Comercial

Everything was running smoothly for the Star Sanses on this amazing day. Ink was drawing happily, Blue was running around chasing butterflies, and Dream was reading! Until we look a little... deeper. Dream was fine. But Ink was thinking about things much darker than his smile gave off. Blue, on the other hand, was thinking all happy thoughts! To an outsider. To anyone else, he would never have depression. To others, he was a cute little innocent boy. But only he knew the truth. Dream was the happiest out of the bunch. Not really surprised, are you? Let's check in on the 'villains' as you may call them. Dust and Cross were running from Killer, who was tightening his strings on his hoodie, NIghtmare was reading just like Dream, skimming over the page, Horror was playing with his ax, and Error was knitting. Who is depressed? Ha. You really are blind, dear, dear reader. Have you yet to notice that the strings were on Killers wrists, so they wouldn't show? Or the way Nightmare never turns a page in his book? Geno was running away from Reaper at that moment, who was laughing. Reaper was slightly sad because he had to reap some souls, but Geno was the one suffering. Fell was being beaten by his brother at that moment, and no one would save him... "You can't be saved without help." This involves Crossmare, Dustberry, Errink, Afterdeath, Kreme, and Scifell. No, I will not be using Horrorlust in this book because I just don't get the ship. Sorry Horrorlust shippers... I really got this whole sanscest thing from Bubblyship and __Purple_Fluffball__ so go check them out AFTER you read this. Please read... THIS IS BEING REWRITTEN BOTH HERE AND ON MY AO3 "AppleBloomer" Cross was a loyal servant to Nightmare, even proving he would give his life to save his king. Nightmare had plenty of secrets hidden within himself. Until a small fit of rage gave away his true emotions for Cross. Cross had to face Nightmares growing emotions towards him, while dealing with a threat that could end their whole world. Ark Two: When Cross feels the happiest, things are pulled away from him when a long lost part of himself awakens with the soul purpose of tearing his life apart. Without a voice, he has to figure out how to take back his life from the one person who could destroy it all. The hints are slow, but maybe Nightmare will get it.

However interaction for the first time in years is going to be awkward and might result in people realising they want t be more than friends... He couldn't sense his brother or mother anymore and was covered in some weird goo. The last thing he remembers was the fight he had with the villagers that wanted the apples. Will he be able to go home back to his family? Does he even truly want it? This fic had been inspired by little-inky night switch Au! I can only recommend you to see their art!

When something is happening what if the council made an evil plan, that they had no idea was evil happen. All I can say is after it happened it practically hurt Inks nonexistent soul. Most viewed him as an insane overlord high on power, but he radiated far too much calculation and control for blind madness to be the cause of his personality. No, he was smart. Incredibly so. He best be, as he ran an entire kingdom of misery and suffering just out of reach from the universe's nosey "Saviors." Cross had a difficult time deciphering his master's intentions. One may argue that he had no choice in being the ravenous king he is now, but that life had forced him down the path long ago for the sake of feeding. That's what this is all for after all. The pain and suffering. It was to feed the king. Cross couldn't despise him for such a basic necessity, no matter how foreign the concept and how often hunger turned the king's attention his way.
