Love With a Scar

At the beginning of a relationship, it has to be natural, filled with laughter, smiles, and butterflies. That is a given. Also, would you agree that marrying that special someone would be a perfect start to having a happy ever after? But what if something happened that ultimately changes how you view life?

Meet Elaine Cadry. She is an award-winning photographer, wrapped up in her work and lacking the social and love life she needs since the tragic accident that plagued her life. She constantly reminiscences her past, voices and images haunting her every actions. She has created an impenetrable wall around her, never sharing a genuine smile or laughter with another ever since the incident occurred. Her friends tell her that she needs to move on, attempting to hook her up with any guy they could think of and trying to get her to go out more but to no avail.

But Elaine isn't ready to move on... Well, that is what she says anyway. She has seen way too much, scarred from the things that have happened to her. The happy, carefree girl she used to be has now changed to an unemotional workaholic. It takes a lot for her to open up, but maybe one day, she will see that everyone has scars and it takes a true survivor to move past those scars and create a new story in her life...
