Through Dreaming in the Void Fair Ones are able to visit alternate lives, therefore he and others have seen that Humans destroy the world with pollution etc. So he wants to make changes. Arianna on the other hand is the third princess of the Queen of all the Realms, she has compassion on Humans and finds ways to improve their lives. The story begins in 1135 AD and spans through to modern times and perhaps beyond. I have not yet finished the book. But there are Dragons and Fairies and Ogres to be had in the tale.Complete
