Near future, post WWIII apocalypse (Most of world destroyed), and the leaders of the world have decided out of anger against the citizens' blames against them to let them fight amongst themselves to solve who is the greatest. After more arguments between countries about who has the best fighters, the Survivor Games pact was formed. Each country must send their best warriors to fight annually in a contest to determine who is the fittest. However, each county is entitled to make up their own games for their citizens to play.

Xain Austin, a 17-year-old fighter in the new America, has been through these games for seven years and has lost his cousin in one of them.

Jada Anderson, a 15-year-old rookie, has never been in a fight, but has followed Xain for as long as she's been in the fight camp.

Both team up with friends to rebel against the capital and find the secrets to their past...and how they're linked.

This story is Gale's, his outlook on the games, his feelings about his best friend's situation, and his interactions with the people of District 12. The story is set during the time period of "The Hunger Games" (book one of the trilogy). It is written from the perspective of Gale Hawthorne, and does not concern any events in books two and three. In this Hunger Games fan fiction, we follow the story of Grace Frost, a 16-year-old girl from District 12 who was reaped for the 76th Hunger Games. Grace is not particularly skilled in hunting or combat, but she has a likable personality that makes her popular among her peers. Before leaving for the games, Grace asks Katniss, the winner of the 74th Hunger Games, to take care of her daughter, Faith Anderson, in case she does not make it back. Katniss agrees to the request, knowing all too well the pain of losing loved ones in the games. The 76th Hunger Games are unique in that they are taking place during a time of increasing rebellion against the Capitol. As the games progress, Grace realizes that she has become a symbol of hope for the people, much like Katniss did in the previous games. She uses her popularity and charm to win the support of other tributes and the Capitol audience. Meanwhile, Katniss and other rebels are working behind the scenes to support Grace and use her as a symbol to rally more people to their cause. They know that the Capitol will do everything in their power to prevent a repeat of the 74th games, where a tribute from District 12 emerged victorious. As the games come to a close, Grace finds herself facing off against another tribute from District 12, a tribute who has been trained specifically to take her down. It's a tense and brutal battle, but in the end, Grace manages to emerge victorious, becoming the first tribute from District 12 to win the Hunger Games twice. However, the victory is bittersweet, as Grace is haunted by the deaths of her father and James Anderson, the father of her daughter, and she knows that the Capitol will not take her defiance lightly. With the help of Katniss and other rebels, Grace begins to plan her next moves, knowing that the fate of her daughter and the entire district is at stake.
