Daion Echoes Through Transglass
Surviving Daions were absorbed harmoniously into Coalition populations. That's what Coalition history recorded. In reality plague survivors were abused, ostracized, and lately their descendants were disappearing - relatively unnoticed - from the sectors where they'd been assigned residence. Right now war is whispering through every sector as political tensions rise between Coalition's Central Worlds and the Isolated Radicals. Half the galaxy away, seeking resources under the lie of peaceful exploration, Dockland is the oldest scanner ship in the Coalition fleet and has the long abandoned Daion Central World listed as one of their possible next assignments. As leadership splinters into the highest ranks of the Coalition government, the events unfolding in the Daion sector have the potential to change the course set by history and possibly restore what was written off as a lost culture ... or see Dockland and its crew erased from having ever existed at all. CONTENT WARNING: a large-scale terror attack is described, cultural repression is a theme, there is violence and resulting injuries described, a bit of flirting, kissing and romance occurs, and the war/battle mentality of some characters comes up. GATE: Awakening The Sleeping Giant (DISCONTINUED)
A mysterious, ancient-looking gate appeared in Washington, D.C., sometime in the 21st century. From the gate poured out monsters, knights from medieval Europe, and other fantasy-like beings, and they began a systematic slaughter of the citizens of the U.S. capital, laying siege to the White House. For the first time since the War of 1812, the streets of the United States became a battlefield. Due to their unrestrained arrogance, the Empire of Sadera immediately sought to claim the lands on the other side of the gate. However, they would soon realize just how inferior their own military truly was. Once the U.S. military mobilized, they attacked the invaders with their advanced technology, forcing only a thousand of them to retreat while killing or capturing the rest. This unprovoked attack on U.S. soil, not seen since September 11th, 2001, would be known as the "Washington Incident." In retaliation, the U.S. government sends the United States Marine Corps to the alternate world beyond the gate, thus beginning the American-Saderan War. We will follow certain groups of people from both the nations of Earth and the kingdoms of Falmart to set the stage for the bloodiest conflict Falmart has ever seen.Complete
Don't Fear the Unknown
It's been years since the collapse. Countless lives lost, history, and cultures forgotten to the horrors we live today. As it stands now, only a fraction of the settlements survived since the start of the war against the monsters described outside the wall that protects us. I didn't usually love Warspite. But, after she was in a medal exchange I was like: 'Ooh. Free good ship.' And I buyed it. Yes that was intentionally spelt incorrectly. A war has sparked in Azur Lane. The embodiment of past modern ww2 ships that were upgraded to their space versions. With their return humanity was able to fight back and gather under one banner to push back the threat of sirens. Now, after a few years of little inactivity people think with the decrease in they would be gone forever. if only they knew, 'WAR NEVER CHANGES' as it is just the calm before the storm.
