Nico di Angelo's mother abandoned him when he was 10 and he never met his father. Life's now better for Nico, he has a half sister and isn't fending for himself anymore. Nico's main problem is his ginormous crush on the most popular guy in school: Percy Jackson.
Percy Jackson loves his mum and stepdad, Paul, and is finally happy. He's accepted himself and has had no trouble coming out. Percy has always been
curious about the mysterious Nico di Angelo and when they are forced to work on a project together Percy may learn there is more to Nico than just being the shy guy at the back of the classroom.
This is a Percy Jackson fanfiction set in high school (sorry if I get things wrong, I'm British, I don't know about high school!). DISCLAIMER: I don't own any of the characters I'm just borrowing them! All of the characters are owned by the God that is Rick Riordan.

Nico Di Angelo's school is taking the whole junior year on a trip to Greece. Following the no gender mingling school policy, Nico groups with his best buds Percy Jackson and Jason Grace. All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will. It doesn't help when they have to pair off to explore the Parthenon and Percy and Jason take off, leaving Nico alone with Will. It also doesn't help when the two boys decide to share a bed at the hotels. Nico works night shifts at a 24/7 coffee shop by himself since nights are slow. He's also full-time at college, when he's 'working', he has the opportunity to do homework; however, he prefers to just read. He never told people about his sexuality (for personal reasons) until it was suddenly revealed in front of one person: his acquaintance, Jason. Not even Nico's sister knew yet, but now he is forced to deal with this friend of a friend, who knows his secret. At work one night, he and his mythology book are interrupted by someone actually coming into the shop. Who could need a coffee at midnight? Midnight Coffee shares its storyline with my book Coffee at Midnight, these are written to play with different perspectives in storytelling. Midnight Coffee was written first, is told strictly from Nico's perspective, and has a cast of Percy Jackson characters. Coffee at Midnight is told strictly from Will's perspective, has a cast of Magnus Chase characters, and includes bonus scenes between the two. These stories are set in a world with no gods or demigods. Will and Nico were both born in the mid-90s (this story is set in 2015). These are fanfiction based on the Percy Jackson franchise.
