One Shot, One Man

Orphaned girl Tess Abbott leaves her brother in their cabin in the woods with the plan of coming back in a day or two. It soon becomes apparent to Tess that she may never get back to their cabin, for she is soon accused of murder and thrown into prison. Informed that the punishment for her crimes will be certain death, Tess's only hope for escape and survival is the man in the cell across from her, but his buried secrets may make any form of trust between them impossible.
