Kimberly Everly is a 17 year old girl who is missing one thing in her life. Her mother. At age 11 Kim's mother decided to leave on her 12th birthday. Kim's life has never been the same without her mother. Her father has to take extra shifts at work to feed Kim and her 2 sister's Diane and Destiny, so he's never at home.
Kimberly's best friend Carmen wants to help find her mother. Kim is very unsure about this decision. That means leaving her sister's alone in the house. Kim decides to go with Carmen to find her mother in the big New York City, where they meet 5 boys.
Kim tries her best not to fall for one particular curly-head boy, but she can't help it. She needs to focus on finding her mother, not falling in love. She can't fall in love again, not like what happened in her last relationship.
Kim's Journey to finding her mother will become difficult. That includes making enemies, getting kidnapped, and a lot, I repeat a lot of backstabbing.
