Sam and Dean Winchester are hunters, and their lives aren't easy. They used to just worry about not dying on hunts, until their surrogate father told them that all those cuts, bruises, appear on their soulmate too. Just another weight on their shoulders that they're going to carry without complaining.
Gabriel and Castiel are normal people, living normal lives, save Gabriel being an ex-prostitute and Castiel having extreme phobias and anxiety. Just because they don't know about 'The Life' doesn't meant that theirs are easy. With a father who isn't in the picture anymore and a religious fanatic for a mother, how are they supposed to explain that their soulmates are both guys?
