[AU] "It's not me!" Freddy yelled, hands grabbing his head as if to keep some monster in his mind from escaping. 
Frightened after being attacked by a dream demon, but suddenly concerned for the creature nearly crying in front of me, I stepped forward, carefully reaching out to remove his hold on his scalp where those blades were drawing blood and matting his hair.
"STAY AWAY!" he ordered me, "I don't want to hurt you."
It was then that I realized the Springwood Slasher and Freddy Krueger were two different people...inhabiting the same body...and...that I might be falling for him.
