Catherine "Caye" Reeds is your normal girl entering her sophomore year. Her parents are too busy to pay attention to her, so she makes up for the lost time with her older brother, Derek, and her friends. Up until recently, Caye had just lived the usual high school life: bullies, friends, classes, and a job to help out herself.

One day her friends accidentally reveal a secret passage right in their high school's library, only to have it not exist the next day. Things keep getting weirder from there: her boss is obviously hiding something, a junior boy who people claim to know suddenly shows up, and mysterious sightings linked with deaths are all over the news.

Without knowing it, Caye, her brother, and her friends are sucked into a world full of myth and fantasy. She's suddenly involved with affairs from out of her realm, and it's up to her and her friends to dealing with them. Does she have what it takes to save all worlds from the danger she unleashed?

Caye just wants her normal life back. But will she ever be the same again?
