Three months have passed since the incident with the Scarlet residents. Strange occurrences have become apparent in the Outside World, but the threat that Ray will face is far more dire than ever before. Whom he will face is a powerful being far beyond anyone he has faced in his life and the battle for the fate of not just the world itself is on the line, but also for the universe itself. Yukari and Ray must put aside their differences in order to work together to defeat this dire threat. Old allies will come to assist these two and another mystery must be solved. A mysterious girl also appears, resembling the Youkai of Boundaries and has a power similar to hers. Who is she and what will Ray and Yukari face that is most dire?
