This series follows Seasons 2 through 8 of Game of Thrones.] Rhaena Velaryon is the daughter of the late Lord of the Tides, Trysten Velaryon, and of the former Princess of House Targaryen, Visaerya Velaryon. Living on the island of Driftmark, Rhaena has recently seen the rise of her brother, Daemon, as Lord of the Tides and is the victim of sexual abuse by his hand and psychological abuse by their mother. She seeks a way to escape her home and follow her dream of becoming a warrior by fighting for the Night's Watch.
