"So I'm just a goofball? I'll show them that they're wrong." Lance McClain is someone perceived as a goofball. He changes quickly and effectively, being silent and expressionless. He closes himself off to everyone but Coran and the lions. He forces himself to look past his injuries and emotions so that everything is going to be fine. "So now I matter?
