Two new obsessions have consumed the Blackbourne team: the beautiful new male student at Ashley Waters and the captivating feminine voice from the woods behind Sunnyvale Court.
Little do they know, the two are one in the same.

Sang Sorenson is a beautiful, kind, compassionate girl who was born to a family of neglectful, cruel, hateful people.
At the tender age of eleven, at the time when most girls are finally showing physical signs of becoming a woman, Sang's "mother" made her to look undoubtedly like a boy. After almost seven years of being forced to act, dress, and speak like a boy, Sang, now Shaw, has become resigned to her fate. The only time she has to remember her true self is when she sings, away from her horrible family who seek to stifle her. All other times she must pretend, that's all her life is anymore: pretending to be male...that her sister doesn't hate her...that her "mother" doesn't torture her...that her father might even care if she died.
Until a new job takes her family's story to South Carolina.
Where for the first time, someone might begin to notice her story doesn't add up.
When nine someones may just be able to see past the pretend.
P.S. These characters are for entertainment purposes only, they belong originally and entirely to C.L. Stone.
P.P.S. This is a ghostbird fanfic, therefore there will be scenes of abuse, swearing, and possible sexual situations as I see fit ;)
After Sang's family died she was moved from foster home to foster home. She has finally found a new life with her adopted parents, but she has yet to leave their property for five years out of fear of what lies in the real world.
Sang is desperate to live a normal life free from her self contained prison and she is desperate to give her new parents the daughter they deserve. To accomplish this Sang takes on the assignment of recruiting nine new members for The Academy.
Will she complete her assignment? Will she make her new parents proud? Will she find her normal? Or will her past come back to haunt her?
This starts off as a re-imagining of Introductions, the boys are not all friends (at first).
Rated PG13 for Language, Potentially Stressful Situations
